Deni Lantzman (b. 1993, São Paulo, Brazil) lives and works in São Paulo.
Deni Lantz’s painterly research investigates rhythm, temporality, and materiality, evoking memories and echoes of his daily life. Based in São Paulo, his practice is shaped both by urban experience and by an intense contact with nature since childhood — an experience that informs his understanding of the world. For Lantz, nature does not present itself as a theme, but as a relational and dynamic structure. Brazilian culture—in its musical, rural, and spiritual dimensions— exerts a profound influence on Lantzman’s work. The result is a body of meditative paintings: open, deliberately enigmatic works in which colour and rhythm send signals to our unconscious, yet to be decoded.
